Upstate Floor Genie was built on hard work, quality craftsmanship, and the trust of satisfied customers. Owner Kevin began learning the value of dependable service while working alongside his uncle, who operated a handyman business. When one of his uncle’s customers needed work completed for a home rebuild, Kevin stepped in and successfully handled the project. Word quickly spread about the quality of his work, inspiring him to build a business of his own.
Kevin initially started a professional carpet cleaning company, helping homeowners restore the appearance and comfort of their properties. As more customers experienced his attention to detail and reliable service, they began requesting help with their hardwood floors. Their positive feedback and continued support led Kevin to create Upstate Floor Genie as a separate business focused on hardwood floor care and restoration.
